How our coverage actually works
The areas above have their own pages because each one moves differently, not because our coverage stops at their boundaries. We work the whole of Bathand the villages around it, so if your street is not named on any of these pages it is almost certainly still somewhere we go. The pages exist because a move in the Georgian core and a move on the Odd Down plateau are genuinely different days, and it is worth saying how before you book rather than after.
We also do a steady amount of work out of the city entirely: south along the A367 towards Radstock and Wells, east on the A4 into Wiltshire, and west to Bristol. Those are quoted the same way as anything else, one fixed price agreed before we load.
What changes between one part of Bath and another
Three things, mostly. Where the van can legally stop, which in the centre is measured in minutes and in the suburbs is often your own driveway. How many flights sit between the door and the furniture, which is what separates a Bathwick conversion from a Southdown semi holding the same amount of stuff. And the gradient, because Widcombe Hill, Bathwick Hill and the climb to Combe Down are steep enough that some of the lanes near them will not take a Luton at all.
None of that makes a move difficult. It makes it worth planning, which is the whole reason we ask about access at both ends before putting a number on the job.
