Access that shifts street by street
Weston's mix of cottages and later homes means access varies as you move around. Near the High Street the lanes are older and tighter, while the family housing usually offers an easier place to bring the van. We check the approach before we arrive and plan the stopping point to suit.
Cottages and full family homes
The older cottages here bring the tight stairs and doorways of their age, which we handle with care, taking pieces apart where they need it. For the larger family homes we bring the van size and the hands to load a full household in good time.
Moving out for space, and the hospital nearby
Most Weston moves come from inside Bath. People leave a flat or a terrace closer to the centre for a house with a garden and somewhere to leave the car, and Weston is one of the first places they look. That means the loads tend to grow rather than shrink, and a two bed flat's worth of furniture frequently turns out to be a three bed house's worth by the time the shed and the loft are counted.
The Royal United Hospital sits just along from here, and a steady amount of our Weston work is people starting or finishing a post there. Those moves often come with less notice than a house purchase does, so short-notice slots matter more in this part of the city than in most.
