Level streets and family homes
On the plateau Odd Down is mostly family housing with driveways and more room to park, so the van can often get close to the door. That tends to speed the whole move up, and we still plan the stopping point in advance so the day runs to a plan.
Placed for the southern routes
On the southern edge of the city near the park and ride, Odd Down is well placed for moves heading out towards Wells and the villages south of Bath. We can quote the whole door-to-door trip for those longer local moves.
Pointed south, and out of the county
Odd Down sits at the top of the A367 as it leaves Bath, which makes it the natural launch point for anything heading south. Moves to Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet and on towards Wells all start well from here, and so do longer runs down into Somerset and the southwest. We do a steady amount of that work out of this part of the city.
Closer to home, the moves are mostly families, and the plateau does them a favour. The streets are level, the parking is generally available and the houses are the sort that can be loaded without a staircase deciding the timetable. It is one of the more predictable parts of Bath to quote for, which is worth something when everywhere else in the city has a hill or a loading bay in the way.
