Collecting from shops and warehouses
When a retailer will not deliver a sofa or bed, or the delivery charge nearly matches the item, we step in. We collect from shops and warehouses in and around Bath, check the piece is what you ordered, and bring it straight over, often cheaper and quicker than the store's own courier.
Pass us the collection reference and the shop address and the pickup is handled.
Marketplace and secondhand pickups
Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and eBay are full of good furniture you can only collect in person. We meet the seller, load the piece safely and deliver it to your door, so a bargain on the far side of the city does not hang on borrowing a van and talking a friend into helping.
The item is wrapped and secured for the trip, so it reaches you in the state you bought it in.
Carried to the room you want
A delivery is little use if it lands at the front door while a heavy wardrobe still has to reach the second floor. We carry the piece to the room you want it in, up the stairs and round the tight corners that fill Bath's period homes. That is the whole reason to use two people and a van rather than a parcel service.
