Central loading and flats
So close to the centre, Kingsmead brings short loading windows and streets where the van cannot sit for long. We plan the nearest legal loading point and the timing so the load runs smoothly, and we bring enough hands for the flats with their shared entrances and stairs.
An easy base for any direction
Kingsmead's central position by the river makes it an easy base for moves any way you like, across town or out of the city entirely. For a quick single-item collection or a small flat move, it is about as convenient as Bath gets.
Arriving and leaving by rail
Kingsmead sits within walking distance of Bath Spa station, and that shows in who moves here. Professionals who commute, people taking a first flat in the city, and short tenancies generally: the loads tend to be modest, the notice tends to be short, and a fair number of the people moving in have arrived with far less than they will leave with.
Being central, the constraint is the same one the whole core has, which is where the van can legally sit and for how long. Around Green Park and the streets by the river the loading restrictions are real and enforced, so the plan matters more than the muscle. A weekday morning slot before the area fills up is usually the difference between a straightforward job and one spent watching the clock on a loading bay.
