Priced by the load, agreed before we start
For a clear pickup-to-drop-off run we quote a fixed price for the load, so you have the total before we start. Jobs that are harder to pin down, like clearing a garage or ferrying items between two Bath addresses, are priced the same way: we ask enough about the load and the access to put one figure on it, rather than starting a meter and letting it run. If the job turns out smaller than described, the price does not climb.
Most single-van jobs finish in one trip. If yours genuinely needs two, we say so rather than overloading and risking damage on the road.
Help with the heavy end
The man matters as much as the van. The driver carries, loads and stacks alongside you, so the heavy end is not yours alone. For larger pieces we can send two people, which is the sensible call for wardrobes, sofa beds and anything that really needs two to lift without hurting a back or a wall.
Tell us the heaviest thing on the list and we will make sure the right number of people turn up for it.
The jobs people book it for
This covers the ground between a courier and a full removal: a marketplace sofa, a fridge from a relative, a few boxes to a storage unit near Twerton, or the half of a move a friend's estate car could not manage. If it fits in a van and needs carrying, it is the sort of thing we handle around Bath most days.
A single item is as welcome as a van packed to the doors, and priced to match.
Booking a van and driver
Give us the collection point, the drop-off, a rough idea of what is moving and the access at both ends. That is enough for us to quote and book you in, often for the same or the next day.
Get in touch and we will arrange a van and a driver for you.
